Business cash advance association created2008-04-16A new association has been created to represent firms that provide business cash advance services. Known as the North American Merchant Advance Association (NAMAA), it is aimed at helping its members share industry knowledge about best practices, professional development, standards and ideas for product development. They will also be able to take part in regulatory and legislative advocacy, as well as helping to combat incidents of merchant fraud. Jeremy Brown, current president of NAMAA, said that the formation of the group will allow closer working between organizations within the business cash advance market. "NAMAA will allow us to work closer together to provide guidance to the industry through leadership, education and the sharing of information for the mutual benefit of all its members," he said. Recently, a document specifying the best practices for the business cash advance sector was published by AdvanceMe.   |
